Every single one of us deserves a life free of shame and stigma. That’s why I am thrilled to see this great initiative by Recovery Academy called “Recovery Cafe”.
How to help a friend in recovery?
There is no clear path on how to help a loved one in recovery from addiction. It all starts with taking one day at a time and offering on-going support. The Recovery Cafe is a drug and alcohol free space for people in addiction with an emphasis on “making recovery visible”. Gather your tribe every Monday and help put out a clear message: you are not alone.
