“Turlough” From Tragedy to Triumph
“If we all hid behind the door no one would know that Recovery is alive, well and living amongst us.”
I am delighted to be taking part in “Turlough”, a psychodrama style event based on the life of the 17th century Irish Composer and Harper, Turlough O’Carolan. It was written by Eileen Beamish, Founder and Managing Director of Wellbeing in Mind.
Turlough is a performance with many elements intertwined; poetry, music and discussions around the central theme of mental wellbeing. It also explores how acts of kindness can change the course of your life, unlocking your true potential.
Mental Health Awareness
This interactive event encourages and promotes mental wellbeing, which enriches the workplace and can help remove the stigma attached to mental health within the community. If you are interested in finding out more or want to put this on for your employees / community, please contact myself or Eileen at eileenbeamish@
